Like Samuel hearing the call of God in the night and Mary sitting at Jesus’ feet, we strive to listen carefully to what the Spirit of God is saying to us.
Each phone call to the church is answered by the weekday greeters.
We have an active pastoral care team. Together with the pastors we provide care for members and friends in times of joy and crisis. We are blessed with four Parish Nurses. They coordinate monthly blood pressure screening, a weekly walking group, and provide in-home consultations.
Prayer shawls (see photo at right) are provided for people in times of healing, transition, and need. Made by members of the church, they have been given around the country. If you have some yarn, knitting needles or crochet hooks, and time, we invite you to join us. We’ll even give you some lessons. Just ask!
An Alcoholics Anonymous group for men called “Easy Does It” meets here each Wednesday at 7 pm. Contact (508) 775-7060 for more information.
